A little about me as a singer songwriter. I got started in music while in college some years ago. I played my first gigs at UMass Amherst with a couple of buddies. We played local taverns and fraternities for a couple of years. It was a fun time. After I graduated I decided to go solo for a while. I still played a couple of gigs at UMass but expanded to play some fun rooms on Cape Cod in summer, including the ‘Improper Bostonian’. (I'll be some of you remember that hot spot)
During the winter months I played local rooms on the South Shore of Boston. During that time I did mostly solo stuff but after a couple of years I formed a group called MGM. The MGM days were also great fun. We had a strong following and had steady work. I learned a lot about putting musical arrangements together working with my buddies Mark and Mike. When we split up, I took an extended leave from playing music. WHY?
At the urging of several friends ... I'm back and having fun.
I'm looking to play some gigs soon and I'll let you know about them.
